Jane Goodall - an inspiration for the world!

The famous primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall is one of the most impressive personalities of our time. She dedicated her life to animal and environmental protection. Her decades of chimpanzee research made her become a highly respected member of the scientific community. Although already in her late eighties, she continues to travel tirelessly around the globe as an advocate of ecological preservation and raises awareness of the need of an ethical coexistence of all living beings.

Tribute to Jane Goodall

Today I learned with deep sadness that Jane Goodall has passed away. She was — and remains — one of the greatest inspirations for my own thinking and actions.


Years ago, I dedicated this blog entry to her — not as a mere tribute, but as an expression of what she had sparked in me: hope, awareness, responsibility.

Jane taught us to overcome the boundaries between humans and animals, to see all life as a whole rather than as separate beings. She showed that science, empathy, and commitment can go hand in hand. Her life itself was a living example of what I also strive for: ethics, respect for all life, and the courage to stand up…
