We are not saying that we as the authors of these lines are omniscient.
We say that we should all examine every aspect of our existence here on earth, recognize the basic evils and each and every one of "us" should have the obligation to eradicate or at least massively reduce the latter with an ethical community spirit. Tolerance, willingness to educate and basic moral values are essential attributes. And every now and then the will to go where it “hurts” - figuratively speaking and sometimes literally...
We want to be influencers, but in a slightly different sense: we want to influence as many people as possible to think about their own actions, about how they themselves can make the world a "better place", about the extent to which, in which way and in which direction society "in general" should move according to its possibilities. This written attempt to exert influence should serve as food for thought and a call to action without falling into extremism of any kind.
The "pushing through" of religious trends should be left out, as should capitalist, communist or whatever doctrines. This is important to us.
It is true that we humans are dependent on each other, we are social creatures and that is what we are genetically determined to be. However, this does not mean that some people are FORCED to be dependent on others because they are the weaker counterpart in a certain relationship. Shouldn't we strive for everyone to be able and allowed to contribute their talents and address their needs to our global social fabric? We should be clear that we cannot reverse, eliminate or turn 180 degrees around the status Q with all its errors and injustices overnight - and we shouldn't do it all at once: because then only social classes would remain back, causing they feel treated unfairly and made a loser. And no decent person should have to feel like a loser. Losing brings sadness, anger, envy and resentment. Poison for an ethically healthy society.
But we absolutely have to start acting fast. Posssibly jointly in the same direction: towards a more balanced, healthier, more livable, ethically valuable world and value system. A common “Eticania” is the goal. Let's get moving.
